I purchased this for my 2008 CR-V.Overall, I think this item is fantastic.Some observations:1) There is enough room in between the shield and the car hood for you to reach your hands in between to wipe.
2) NO TAPE.Installed onto current screw/holes in the hood.No drilling involved.
3) Reason I only gave this 4 stars, it is small, but I noticed it.The surface of the deflector is not completely smooth.So under good lighting, you can see the "distortion".
4) ALSO, it was mentioned in one of the CR-V forums.... after installation, if you look at it from the front, you will noticed the driver side, corner is just slightly "off".Again, it is small, but noticeable.The link to the forum:

OVERALL, very happy w/ the product.Looks good and easy to clean, installed w/o any problems.
