The rear window deflector does not allow the rear windows to close without binding. I'm very dissapointed in the quality and functionality of the product. Feels cheap and doesn't work well.

I actually have been thinking about returning the wind diverters.I put them on according to the instructions and they are coming loose at the ends.Vibrating as I drive down the road is not what I had in mind. Previous diverters I have bought slide into the window channel itself and have worked great.

Review of Interceptor For Acura ~ MDX ~ 2002-2004 Smoke

The Interceptor for Acura is a great product but the vender I used had the worst communication possible.I recieved my product as it was advertised and found out I had a different model car for the product.I then went to send the product back to dealerstore.com and it has been over 3 weeks of poor communication.After contacting dealerstore.com with the error in my purchase, they promised me a return slip within 3 days.I finally got the return slip after 2.5 weeks of phone calls and convincing the company I did not want the product because I ordered the wrong model.After I have put the product back in the mail, It has been a month long process.I recommend the product but I don't recommend using dealerstore.com

First one was received broken, had the manufacturer replace and found that unless screwed into the hood the self stick tabs let go in about a month.Overall not the greatest value for the money

Better than I expected. Very easy to install. Stainless steel is much more durable than ABS which does dry out after a while and will crack and break.

This Lund product was orderdbecause of Lund's Reputation for quality. Quality it is! A wonderful finish, caution it IS Very Sharp..Also it is advertised as easy no drill instalation.. upon receiving the Deflector and opening the box to inspect the contents. On the FRONT page of the parts contents list It shows a "DRILL" illustration?? You do have to drill 1/8" holes to mount the Piece.. I ask you then? why/ why? does it say "Easy no Drill Instalation"I had no problem doing the Job, but I have more than Handyman skills. Someone buying this Item "Because" of not having to Drill on their vehicle is in for a SHOCK, not a Suprise. I am Happy with the Purchase and Amazon's wonderful service, BUT LUND Exects.. you need to do something about your advertising, it's not correct......

Review of Lund 49459 Interceptor Stainless Steel Wrap-Around Bug Shield

This is a super nice bug shield and it's stainless steel which makes it much more durable compared to the plastic ones on the market today. It is not so easy to install however, the included hardware is a little on the cheap side and it makes it hard to get the well nuts to stay in the holes under your hood, I suggest going to Home Depot or Lowe's and buying some larger well nuts, (they are the little rubber things) that the screws go into under the hood to secure the bug shield to your vehicle, other than that it is a great product!!

I've had a couple of these over the years, and they are probably one of the better bug shields out there. One complaint I have with the new one is that they could have contoured it more to match the hood lines on the new body style of the Silverado.
Looks like an enlarged version of the one on my old Silverado!

Overall this is a good product.I have used several on my vehicles.The only weak part is cracking around the mounting holes over time.I solved this by using larger washers under the screw heads and putting silicone between the hood and the shield to spread out the stress around the mounts.

I returned this item because it mounted to a chrome plastic strip on my grill with two face sticky tape.The Chrome piece was held to my truck with two small clips.There is no way the wind would not tear both the deflector and chrome plastic strip off.The two face tape probably works well on other models, but because of the placement of the grill it does not work well on the 08 GMC models.No problem with returns on Amazom, so thats a plus.

the Lund 18039 only took about 15 minutes to install (with the help of another person) and fit perfectly on my 4runner. It is lightweight but feels sturdy, and does not move or vibrate at highway speeds. Have only had it for a couple of weeks in dry weather so I can't vouch for durability or effectiveness, but I am very satisfied so far.
