Review of Auto Ventshade 94172 Ventvisor 4-Piece Smoke Window Visor

As a product whole they are great. The ability to leave your windows down in the rain is wonderful. The ease of installation is also a plus. As a personal purchase experience, very bad. I have bought Ventvisors for many years and have never had the tape come away from the visor. It's usually coming off the window indicating that they were not installed correctly, but when the tape comes off the visor itself, it usually indicates a defective product.

Review of Auto Ventshade 94212 Ventvisor 4-Piece Smoke Window Visor

These didn't fit properly. They were just a little bit off, but enough to easily notice, especially while installing. I had to decide to cover the window fully, or have this fit in its intended spot. I had to bend these to get them to fit. About 15% of the 3M tape is serving no purpose because of improper fit. From far away, these look fine. They do their job keeping rain out and they are still hanging on, so 2-3 stars based on that.

Review of Auto Ventshade 94833 Ventvisor 4-Piece Smoke Window Visor

I've bought this brand before, but totaled my car. They worked well back then (2000) and their products appear to be the same.Put these on my '05 Mazda 3 a couple of days ago. When it arrived, the 3M tape had come unstuck from the visor in a few areas. After some pressing it was back to the way I think it should have been.Removing the red tape to expose the adhesive tape was a giant pain ... took me about 20 minutes to install all 4 on my vehicle. If the tape had been easy to remove (with tabs or something) then I could have installed them in 1/2 the time.

I don't enjoy the look it adds to the vehicle, but living in SW Florida, I NEED these because of the heat.I wish AVS offered an in-channel window visor, one which you wedge in where the window closes.Thats what my co-worker has on his vehicle (not a Mazda 3) and it has a much cleaner look.
