I got this mainly to protect the sunroof glass from possible rock chips etc the wind noise wasn't an issue for me but the deflector does work in bringing that down.I had some time getting used to adjusting the position of the deflector as it uses two metal clips that clamp onto the inner edge of the sunroof opening though they don't get near the roof to damage the paint.After I had some experience putting them on and taking them off, cleaning and waxing the area the deflector's rubber seal touches the roof is essential, I can do it in just a couple of minutes.
As I mentioned you need to clean and wax the roof where the rubber seal makes contact to protect the paint from being damaged in the heat or from any tiny rocks/sand debris that get under there while driving.
Beyond being diligent about keeping this clean I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to bring down the wind whooshing or like me want some insurance from a possible rock taking out your sunroof.
