I purchased this hood protector for my 2008 Tacoma after researching several other brands. I chose this one over the others because of its low to mid profile and EGR's reputation for quality products. This particular piece was made in Australia. The protector installed easily and with NO DRILLING. The installation hardware included plastic clips that installed into factory openings in the hood. So far I've survived my first winter in this truck without a single windshield crack or chip from "anti-skid" material while on my daily jaunt down the PA Turnpike.
