Relatively painless to install it went on in about 20 minutes. I believe the only tool required was a phillips screwdriver. One thing that I felt was missing on this bug shield was something that kept it propped up off the front of the hood. The only attachment is to the underside of the hood with the screws provided. I'm concerned that over time with the wind pressure of constant driving that it might warp. I've had it on for about a month now. No complaints it seems to be working as promised.Product Description
