Review of WeatherTech 70455 Light Tint 2-Piece Side Window Deflector

The hardest part of installing these front window deflectors on my 2009 Honda CRV was getting the box open and getting them out.The box is a pain to open. After that, in about 5 minutes - mostly reading directions - I had both installed. The just slip into place - no fasteners, nothing, just put them into place. BE SURE that the front bottom edge is ON the door and doesn't want to slip down into the window groove. They stay in place very securely when correctly installed.Windows may refuse to close (close and auto-open again) the first couple of times after installation until the window gets them properly seated.Open and close the window 3 or 4 times to get them seated and then leave the windows close awhile to "set" them. After that, no hassle.

I smoke and these allow the window to be open to let smoke escape - they seem to help draw it out just a bit, too. This CRV was AWFUL if you opened the window when it was raining... it seems to gather the rain awaiting someone to open the window so it can dump rain on you. These stop that problem.
